The CRH Reference Handler is a low-level citation management system, implemented in bash. It’s a simple tool which makes it easy to organise, share and cite academic publications. It can be used on its own (from a command line), or in conjunction with other software, e.g. LaTEX and BibTEX. All data are stored in plain text files (UTF-8 Unicode) which are easy to parse, edit and generate.

This system took inspiration from a similar tool built by Iain Murray.
